Is the food gently cooked or raw?
It is a deliberate culinary hybrid designed for maximum bioavailable nutrition. We gently slow-braise the lean muscle meats at low temperatures for digestibility and palatability, while pureeing our delicate organ meats and micronutrient blend cold/raw. This ensures heat never degrades essential enzymes, B-vitamins, or trace minerals.
How does fresh food transition work?
We recommend a 7-to-10 day transition timeline. Start with 25% fresh food mixed into 75% of their normal diet for 3 days, move to 50/50 for 3 days, and gradually increase. Adding our bone broth helps soothe digestion during the switch.
How long does the food stay fresh?
Our meals are vacuum-sealed with zero artificial preservatives. They stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, or in the freezer for up to 6 months. Bone broth keeps refrigerated for 5-7 days or frozen in cubes for months.
Can I customize ingredients if my dog has allergies?
Yes! Because this is a private culinary service, we formulate specifically for your pup. In the intake form, simply list any foods your dog cannot tolerate (e.g., chicken, peas, grains), and we will make the appropriate substitutions.
Can I order bone broth, toppers, or jerky by themselves?
To maintain small-batch culinary standards and kitchen efficiency, our bone broths, probiotic toppers, and artisanal jerkies are prepared exclusively as add-ons for our monthly meal plan clients. Simply check the add-on boxes on your intake form!
